Any woman who has formed breasts is totally recommended to checking for breast cancer at least once a month (usually considered wiser).
However, some women seem to either forget to do such an important “self-test” (40% of all diagnosed breast cancers are found through self-examination), or just do not even know what they want if they were make one.
How is Breast Cancer Diagnosed? Guidelines on How to Perform Self-Examination
Learn about techniques and methodological
1. Cancer Research.
Check Your Breasts In the Shower or Bath
Shower and Bath are the best places for breast self-test. Use hot water and soap when trying to feel the problems that may be present underlying skin. Fingertips – move across the breast in a circular motion (from the outside to the inside and work), near the armpit, which attempts to detect unusual lumps or knots. Thickening of the skin or rashes like eczema (dry skin, red spots, itching) and psoriasis (raised patches of skin [red], silvery scales). Around the nipple may indicate Paget’s disease (a later forms of breast cancer that affects the nipple).
2. Cancer Research. Check Yourself In Front of a Mirror
With both arms at your sides, slowly lift above his head while looking for any unusual changes in the contour of the breast, swelling, skin dimpling, nipple inversion (the nipple turned inward), or nipple discharge. Next, rest your palms firmly on her hips and flex your chest muscles. Try to find holes or folding (folds or irregular wrinkles).
3. Cancer Research. Check Your Breasts Lying on the floor / bed
Methods in Mammary and Breast Cancer Research
With a pillow under your right shoulder while the head of the right arm extends – check the breast and axilla the fingertips of the left hand in the same way as before in the shower. Press as the nipple to a discharge that may be present. This procedure is repeated for the left breast with a pillow under the left shoulder and right hand to complete the exam.
Note: If a discrepancy is found, it is recommended to make an appointment with a consultant physician or health care professional as soon as possible to clarify the findings. If you think breast cancer, it will make a referral to a specialist who may order a mammogram to detect the possibility of breast tumor. About 80% of tumors found in the breast are not cancerous; however, because the remaining 20% are self – breast exams are essential.
Cancer Research and Surgical Options For Breast Cancer
When after self cancer research, women panic diagnosed with breast cancer, most do not spend time to study the options. Surgical techniques vary depending on the hospital; it becomes more critical for proactive education. Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day (BRA Day) was created to bridge the achievement gap.
With regard to surgical options, the option is the least invasive lumpectomy and is a very ordinary practice. In this method, simply the cancer is removed and the remaining breast tissue as possible is left intact. However, depending on the size and location of the tumor, the elimination of breast cancer could leave substantially deformed.
If More Extensive Surgery is Needed, the Entire Breast is Removed, Known as Mastectomy Name.
In this case, it becomes an option if the patient wishes to remain without a breast or if you want to create a new. The construction of a new breast is called reconstruction and is performed by a plastic surgeon who works with the breast surgeon, who removed the cancer. Procedures may be able to be completed during the same surgery or reconstruction may require additional surgery later.
In case the patient choose reconstruction after mastectomy can have multiple options in a constantly evolving process, with the money of our donations and medical research continues.
Traditional Breast Reconstruction Method
Traditional reconstruction method involved the introduction of an expansion device under the skin during surgery mastectomy. The regulator is essentially an empty balloon. After the patient has recovered from the surgery, the physician will inflate the balloon gradually over several sessions, until the skin has been stretched to the desired size, after which the expansion device is exchanged with an implant or other tissue of the body in a second surgery.
A nipple can be added later, from meat or 3-D illusion tattoo with a tattooed nipple, if desired. It can be a long process. Even with the extension of time and effort required, this option is still worth it for many women.
The Patient had A Breast Immediately – Without a Nipple or Areola
Subsequent developments led reconstructive surgery after a “skin-sparing” mastectomy. If this is the situation, then the nipple and areola are removed, but the rest is left unharmed. The internal mammary tissue is removed and the cavity is filled with body tissue or other area of an implant expansion or inflation during the initial surgery. The patient had a breast immediately, however, without a nipple or areola – both of which can be added later if you wish. If a regulator, which will have to be exchanged with a cloth or other implant body is used later.
Nipple Sparing Mastectomy
Nipple sparing mastectomy, NSM is currently rebuilding the most technically advanced option. In this case, the entire outer skin of the chest is left intact and the internal breast tissue is removed. The remaining space is filled directly into body tissue or an implant or a swelling expansion during the initial surgery. The result is similar to the sparing mastectomy skin, but looks much better than the nipple and areola are left intact original.
Cancer Research – All surgery options will not be offered in each hospital.
Also, not everyone is entitled to each surgical option. However, understanding the options available to enable women to make informed decisions about surgery should whenever necessary.
Do your homework with cancer research and educate yourself regarding what you put in you, in you and around you.
You do not need to get paranoid about what you have no control over the change – like your work environment – but so many small simple changes in your lifestyle can begin to see the changing relationship … and the change in the right direction.
Would not it be a blessing to be able to say only one in twenty women suffering from breast cancer in the next decade! Lots of determination will be needed by those who are informed and educated to spread the word. Beyond that, we all have to make the decision to simply change the way we live.
It is not good enough to know that we must change – are required to go ahead and do it! It will not be easy, but I think we can see a reduction in the occurrence of breast cancer.
