The estrogen that we can get from food is called Fhytoestrogen. There are 3 Types of Phytoestrogens derived from foods:

  • Coumestan:  is known to elicit oestrogenic effects.  Estrogen foods with coumestrol: alfalfa, soybeans, chick peas,  legumes, pinto beans and  red clovers.
  • Isoflavones:  related to “isoflavonoids.” Estrogen foods with isoflavones: soy products and legumes.
  • Lignans: The third type of oestrogen derived from foods. Mostly found in estrogen foods like:  fruits, brans, beans  and vegetables.

There are 9 basic  food groups for natural estrogen (oestrogen) contents based on micrograms / 100 grams serving. Thanks to that high estrogen food was grouped, it will be easier for you to choose different ingredients to your daily diet, to get the best nutritional value.
